We created this workshop to give you the opportunity to see how two experienced photographers approach the same brief, compare their techniques and take what works for you.

Two Perspectives Studio Workshop

The lighting setups you save from Reels and YouTube were built for another room, another client, someone else's lights — and they never tell you which part mattered. So here you watch the same brief solved twice: two photographers, every decision explained.

Who is in front of the camera — A model who knows what her body is doing, or a client who has never posed. Everything about direction changes with her.
The room and the budget — A fashion production and a portrait studio carry different kit. You see which choices need a budget and which never did.
The tools and the shortcuts — Different lights, different brands, different habits — the ones each of us reaches for because they are faster, or because they survive a long day.

One photographer hands you a recipe. Two, solving it differently, hand you the reasoning underneath. You will not leave shooting like either of us — you will leave able to defend your own choices.

Standing, full length, hand on the bump. Marta builds the background — gels, colour, a constructed world. Julia removes it — one ground, one tone, all shape.

The same palette and the same problem, twice. Julia cuts it hard and graphic and lets the hair do the moving. Marta lights it soft and lifted and lets the fabric do it.

Both on strong colour. Julia holds him sharp — one ground, hard light, every edge intact. Marta drags the shutter and lets him come apart. Opposite decisions about sharpness.
